
Our Mission
The mission of the Qubaa Muslim School Counseling Program is to assist all students in their quest to become productive citizens and responsible, lifelong learners through their academic development, personal and social growth and career exploration.
Also strives to equip students with the skills necessary to achieve academic self-confidence, career and college readiness, and strong interpersonal relationships.

Our Vision
The School Counselor will help provide an atmosphere of security, warmth, and encouragement as Qubaa students work to reach their fullest educational potential in the areas of academic, career, and personal development.
The School Counselor will also commit to establish a solid foundation as Qubaa students successfully manage their lives as healthy, responsible and productive citizens who respect themselves and others.

Our Goals
Goal(s): Gain experience/exposure of working with students face-to-face academics, career research, and social emotion conflict resolution/conflict prevention
Goal 1
Facilitate group and individual career research, preparing seminar and motivational speeches for senior students
Related activities:
- Facilitate workshops on career exploration.
- Organizing or participating in Career Panels.
- Career Assessment for all students.
- Performing individual career counseling sessions.
- Setting up webinar meetings between students and professionals.
- To teach professional etiquette and character development(Life Skills lessons)
Goal 2
Support students in group, individual works and social-emotional conflicts.
Related activities:
- Lead bullying workshops to fix this issue.
- Leading groups with social conflicts to teach positively.
- Communication respect, acceptance, inclusive cultures.
- Resolve conflicts using Conflict Resolution Agreements (Forms)
Goal 3
Academic Counseling and support to students at the meeting to meet the academic requirements to promote high school. Increase student and parent’s knowledge of A-G requirements for advancing college awareness. In Kenya national examination(KCSE) we need C+ and above for degree study.
Related activities:
- Facilitating presentations on promotion and R&D requirements.
- Small groups of students.
- Educate students on the importance of GPA and how to calculate it.
- Review transcripts to determine if A-G is ready (C+ for KCSE Exam)
